LIC Agent Commision rates

On any stadard policy that you procure, you shall be paid as per following commision rates*.

  • 25% of 1st year premium with 10% bonus commision
  • 7.5% of 2nd and 3rd year premium
  • 5% there after till the policy continues

Every time a policy holder pays his installment premium; the agent receives his comission. * conditions apply

  • No retirement in this job, you are entitled to LIFE-LONG income in the form of RENEWAL COMMISSION. You will be rewarded by the way of Renewal Commission until the last Policyholder goes out of the Books of LIC.

Fees

How To Become LIC Agent

Step 1 : Simple Registration Process

To become an LIC agent, you have to fill in a simple registration form available on the Contact Us page of our website. You can submit the documents mentioned at the bottom of this page later. Please also take a look at the Documents and Fees section of this page.

Step 2 : Online or Offline Training

Once you are through the registration process, you will have to go for Online or Offline Training of 25 hours. Upon completion of the training, you will be awarded with a training certificate. The training covers all the aspects of Life Insurance Business.

Step 3 : Examination

Further, you will appear a Pre-Licensing Online exam conducted by IRDA and obtain at least – 17 out of 50 Marks. The questions will be of objective type.

Step 4 : Appointment letter

Upon passing the exam, you will be given appointment letter to work as insurance agent. Now you will be a part of our team.

Step 5 : One to One Training

Once you are a part of our team, we shall provide Exclusive training for

1) LIC products with benefits
2) Needbase selling
3) Documentation work needed for a new policy
4) Marketing skills and ideas needed for selling LIC products.
