First Commission on Sales

Under standard tables and terms, you are paid 1st year's commission of 25% of the first year's premium paid by the policy holders.

Bonus Commission

You are entitled to bonus commission at the rate of 40% of the eligible first year commission, provided you fulfil requirements for total first year's premium secured and number of lives insured in your agency year.

Renewal Commission

The agent is paid 7.5% of the premium paid in the second and third years, and 5% on every year's premium from the fourth year onwards. Renewal commission is payable on renewal premium, so helping clients keep policies in force is a valuable service.

Hereditary Commission

If an agent dies while the agency subsists after being in force for two years or more, renewal commission can continue to be payable to heirs or nominee, provided business of not less than Rs. 1 lakh was in force at the time of death.

Guaranteed Income Benefit

If agency is terminated due to non-performance after five agency years but before ten agency years, renewal commission can continue, provided nominal business of at least Rs. 2 lakhs was in force one year before cessation. This condition is waived after ten or more agency years.

Increasing Income Benefit

With recurring income from insurance compensation, your income can steadily increase every year. Each succeeding year's new sales add to renewal commission on earlier business.

Retirement Benefit

Gratuity up to a maximum of Rs. 2,00,000/- is payable under Schedule VI of the Agents Rules, 1972, provided the agent has completed the business guarantee for at least 15 qualifying years.

Term Insurance Benefit

Free family protection is payable under Schedule VI of the Agents Rules, 1972 in the event of death of a confirmed agent before age 60, subject to required conditions including appointment before age 50, at least 3 qualifying years, active agency, and holding an eligible insurance policy.
